[ADaPT-l] ADaPT Version 9.0.11 Update (I am having issues).

Good morning terry,

So far in the DWM ADaPT library I have added the following PFAS methods for only the AQ matrix.
EDPA 533, EPA 537, EPA 537.1 and EPA 8321 (PFAS).
The method EPA 8321 (PFAS) is roughly based on the proposed method EPA 8327 which includes the solid matrix.
I am certainly willing to ad analytes to Method EPA 8321 (PFAS) for the SO matrix.
Let me know wht analytes you need to report for the Soil/Solid "SO" matrix.
If you have suggested MDLs and PQLs I would like to se and probably use them.
Looking at the method briefly, it looks like all recoveries and RPDs are similar for the AQ and SO matrices.

Let me know what analytes you need for the Soil matrix and do let me know if I need to add new analytes (not already listed for the AQ matrix).

Thank you,

Hi Clark,

I ran the new files and am not finding EPA 8321 (PFAS) in the list for Soils. I do see EPA 8321, however, this doesn't include what we are reporting.

The DWM Library now has method EPA 8321 (PFAS) for perfluoroalkyl substances.

Thank you,

Terry

EXTERNAL EMAIL*

Please update ADaPT version 9.0.11, which includes the following modifications:

  1. Before the Division of Waste Management used ADaPT, the original FDEP Master Library had the ClientAnalyteID 1790 for the Analyte Total Kjeldahl Nitrogen (TKN). The TNI AnalyteID for TKN is 1795, so we have updated the ClientAnalyteID for TKN from 1790 to 1795 for all methods and STORET codes.
  2. The DWM Library now has method EPA 8321 (PFAS) for perfluoroalkyl substances. This method includes the 24 analyte names and abbreviated synonyms, and the 19 surrogates and their abbreviated synonyms, all as listed in the proposed EPA 8327.
  3. Added Drinking Water Methods for the AQ matrix: Methods EPA 533, EPA 537 and EPA 537.1 for PFAS type compounds.
Instructions to update ADaPT

ADaPT is a 32-bit application running under a 32-bit installation of MS Office. Users will need to identify if they are running Windows 32-bit or Windows 64-bit. To determine which version you are running, use the following directions:

  1. Open System Information by typing "system information" into the windows search bar OR open Control Panel and select System
  2. For both options, look under "System Type" for the required information
System Information:
[Title: System Information - Description: Screenshot of where to find 32-bit or 64-bit Windows information]

Control Panel > System:
[Title: System - Description: Screenshot of where to find 32-bit or 64-bit Windows information]

To update ADaPT, download the file for your operating system by clicking the appropriate link below and saving to your local hard drive:

32-bit ADaPT Update<ftp://ftp.dep.state.fl.us/pub/WACS-ADaPT/Update_ADaPT_9_0_11_Consultant_(Windows_32_bit).exe>  OR 64-bit ADaPT Update<ftp://ftp.dep.state.fl.us/pub/WACS-ADaPT/Update_ADaPT_9_0_11_Consultant_(Windows_64_bit).exe>

Ensure that ADaPT is not running and that you have finished processing all EDDs. Navigate to the appropriate file and double click on it to execute. This program will update the ADaPTModules.accde and ADaPTTables.accdb files and overwrite the existing files. If you update ADaPT 9.0.11 and encounter any problems, please let us know. With this update, you will have the most recent:

  *   ADaPT Valid Values
  *   DWM Library
  *   FDEP Database Testsite Inventory
  *   FDEP Database Valid Values
  * Field EDD and other queries
