[ADaPT-l] ADaPT Version 9.0.11 Update

Please update ADaPT version 9.0.11, which includes the following modifications:


  1.  Before the Division of Waste Management used ADaPT, the original FDEP Master Library had the ClientAnalyteID 1790 for the Analyte Total Kjeldahl Nitrogen (TKN).  The TNI AnalyteID for TKN is 1795, so we have updated the ClientAnalyteID for TKN from 1790 to 1795 for all methods and STORET codes.
  2.  Added method EPA 8321 (PFAS) for perfluoroalkyl substances.  This method includes the 24 analyte names and abbreviated synonyms, and the 19 surrogates and their abbreviated synonyms, as listed in the proposed method EPA 8327 for both the AQ and SO matrices.
  3.  Added Drinking Water Methods for the AQ matrix: Methods EPA 533, EPA 537, and EPA 537.1 for PFAS type compounds.
  4.  Added Method SIMPLATE for Heterotrophic plate count for the AQ matrix.
  5.  Added Method EPA 537 (SOP), an SOP for the analysis of 36 PFAS type analytes for the AQ and SO matrices.  SOP includes 25 isotopically labeled surrogates.
  6.  Updated both the tblSvlLabID and tblSvlProject valid Values tables.
Instructions to update ADaPT

ADaPT is a 32-bit application running under a 32-bit installation of MS Office.  Users will need to identify if they are running Windows 32-bit or Windows 64-bit.  To determine which version you are running, use the following directions:


  1.  Open System Information by typing "system information" into the windows search bar OR open Control Panel and select System
  2.  For both options, look under "System Type" for the required information

To update ADaPT, download the file for your operating system by clicking the appropriate link below and saving to your local hard drive:

32-bit ADaPT Update<ftp://ftp.dep.state.fl.us/pub/WACS-ADaPT/Update_ADaPT_9_0_11_Consultant_(Windows_32_bit).exe>  OR 64-bit ADaPT Update<ftp://ftp.dep.state.fl.us/pub/WACS-ADaPT/Update_ADaPT_9_0_11_Consultant_(Windows_64_bit).exe>

Ensure that ADaPT is not running and that you have finished processing all EDDs.  Navigate to the appropriate file and double click on it to execute.  This program will update the ADaPTModules.accde and ADaPTTables.accdb files and overwrite the existing files.  If you update ADaPT 9.0.11 and encounter any problems, please let us know.
