Ivan, you are correct in your understanding (my bad). But, is the level used
by DSL at this level or higher?

Kimber,
Spencer's comments on logging seem to be somewhat at odds with your
last comments to me on this.
Your last instruction to me was to keep logging on Prod at info and
above for 2 weeks to insure everything was okay. And that the project lead
had to certify that he had reviewed the logging each day for the initial 2
week period. At the conclusion of the two weeks assuming everything was okay
we would reduce the logging output to warn and above.
The notes at
http://epic52/operations/index.html#Production+Checkout+and+Monitoring apply
but perhaps they are out of date.

Darlene,
As Charles notes below, your application is writing a great deal to
the log files on epic228 plus you need to change your log file target to the
location he specifies. I trust this high level of logging is for debugging
purposes. Logging levels will have to be much lower in production.
Also, please get Marion the DBA migration package for production as
soon as possible. We would like it by close of business on Monday.
Ivan,
Please coordinate with Leslie and Charles on what needs to be done to
deploy SSO on epic229 so that it will be ready for Darlene's application.
Charles,
Please do a quick review of the recent logging to see if there is
anything that troubles you and advise Darlene's team if action needs to be
taken on their part to clear up problems.
Thanks.
Spencer

Marion,
Darlene has the dsl-fspli application.
I see lots of errors in their log files.
Also, they are filling up the OC4J container log with lots of
debug information, the current count is 500K lines, which should go to their
log4j log files.
We might want them to fix the errors before going to
production.
Thanks,
Charles

Charles, do you know the application she is referring
to? Is it ready for production?

Since we are planning on having the testing finished
by next week, we are requesting that the SSO application be placed on the
Production Server now so that it will be ready when we deploy FSPLI to
Production. We are targeting next Wednesday to go to Production. Let me know
if there are any questions. Thanks,
