Hi All,
The State recommends the use of third-party certified electronics recyclers. This means the companies are members either of E-Stewards or R2. These auditing bodies have strict guidelines for recycling/disposing of all electronics and properly destroying data and are your best option for ensuring proper management. You can find a Florida-based certified electronics recycler by checking this website: http://www.dep.state.fl.us/waste/categories/electronics/pages/contract.htm

Subject: [FRC] Electronics Recycling
Hi,
I was hoping to get a list of companies that the cities/counties use for electronics recycling. I was interested in learning what kind of collections they have, either curbside or annual events, and what kind of charges apply for disposal. We are interested in looking at different companies and want to make sure that they are fully vetted with certifications and environmentally sustainable practices. Any help on this would be much appreciated. Thanks!
