[FRC] Curbside Outreach & Enforcement Program Information Request

Greetings,

I am reaching out to learn more from communities that have implemented programs such as "Feet on the Street" or similar curbside outreach and enforcement where recycling carts are inspected over time to reduce recycling contamination. Some programs utilize "Oops Tags", take photos of inside flipped cart lids, reject contaminated carts for pick-up at the curb, etc.

If your community has initiated such a program as described above, I would be very interested in speaking with you to learn more about the implementation, success, and any lessons learned. If you can point to any reports or resources your community published or found, I would also be very grateful to review those as well.

When recycling please remember, No Plastic Bags! Bags and other items that can tangle such as ropes, cords, wires, and hoses damage the recycling sorting equipment.  You can recycle all your plastic bags at participating local grocery and retail stores but NOT in your blue cart.  Thank you for recycling!
