gis-l: tables not displaying

		Hello, everyone,
		Here's the scenario:
		When right clicking to open a table in ArcMap, no table opens
(or maybe it does, but it's not in the visible portion of the monitor).  =
The
table can be seen fine in ArcCatalog and can be edited in ArcView 3.2a =
and
can be seen on other computers.

		Any ideas about this problem?  It's exactly as described in
the discussion forum article link below.=20

		 It's as though the table is being opened but is showing up
outside the viewing area of the monitor (this used to happen sometimes =
with
the directory tree in ArcCatalog).  The normal.mxt was renamed to force =
it to
recreate one, but no luck.  If you have any ideas about what to try =
other
than reinstalling the software, please let us know. =20
