gis-l: ADMIN - DataMiner 8.x Enhancements

ArcGIS Users,

We have made several minor enhancements to the DataMiner 8.x =
productivity
tool that will improve efficiency and flexibility.=20

* Removed the dependency on a DBF file and replaced it's function with =
an
already-existing Oracle table.
* Removed the dependency on Microsoft's ADO to access layer information.
* Removed hard-coded information on the ArcSDE server and replaced this
dependency with a more flexible table-driven mechanism.
* Increased speed for Tallahassee users (non-Tallahassee users will not =
see
this performance improvement due to network latency).
* Improved the visual interface indicating when the dll is loading for
non-Tallahassee users.

You may replace the old DataMiner 8.x dll with the new version from our
install page or directly from the link below.
