Subject: RE: gis-l: 2004 DOQQ Status Advisory

As a follow up to Linc's announcement of the availablity of 2004 DOQQ's, =
I
have updated the Image Copy extension for ArcView 3.x to include the =
option
to copy these images.

Users who copy image files from network drives to a local drives (for =
use
with mobile GIS applications or to use the file from a local drive to =
speed
up redraw times) may find this tool helpful in determining which files =
need
to be copied. With this extension, you can zoom to an area of interest =
and
simply push a button to copy many different image formats from the =
network
servers to a user specified local directory. For best use of the =
extension,
you should include the Quarter-Quad Grid (under Indexes in DataMiner) in =
your
view, and select the actual quads you want using the Select tool.

The extension may be downloaded from
\\Tlhwrm\gis_common\imagecopy\imagecopy.avx. Once placed in your ArcView =
User
Extensions directory (usually c:\myav3), a choice for Image Copy will =
show up
in your ArcView Extensions dialog (by clicking File and then selecting
Extensions).

Please do not contact BIS/GIS or the Help desk for support with this =
tool --
it is a tool created by DWRM, and for support, please contact me.

This is not for use with ArcMap 8.x or 9!!! Just good, ole fashioned =
ArcView
3.x.=20
