GIS Users,

The new layers based on CHAZ in the IMS are now available. The new layers
are based on the structure of the IMS and as a result of the data model, they
will have more GIS records than previously. The new layers can be found in
Data Miner with suffix of
"IMS".

* CHAZ IMS (dep.chaz_ims_sp_vw)
* Hazardous Waste Transfer Facilities IMS (dep.hwts_ims_sp_vw)
* Hurricane Facilities of Concern IMS (dep.hfcs_ims_sp_vw)
* Large Quantity Generators (LQGs) from CHAZ IMS (dep.lqgs_ims_sp_vw)
* Small Quantity Generators (SQGs) from CHAZ IMS (dep.sqgs_ims_sp_vw)
* Treaters, Storers + Disposers (TSDs) from CHAZ IMS (dep.tsds_ims_sp_vw)
* Used Oil Transfer Facilities IMS (dep.uots_ims_sp_vw)

The old layers still reflect the state of CHAZ as of COB Friday. Please
replace the old data in your GIS project as soon as possible. We will
deprecate the old layers on COB March 21st.

Subject: gis-l: CHAZ_IMS Update

GIS Users,

As you may know, the CHAZ data was migrated into the IMS Core data structures
over the weekend. The migration did not progress as quickly has had been
expected. As a result, we could not start building the new GIS layers for
CHAZ in the IMS until this morning. As a result, of this late start, I want
to let you know where we are in the process and what data you are looking at.

Today (Monday) - The existing CHAZ layers reflect the state of CHAZ as of the
COB on Friday.

Tomorrow (Tuesday) - The existing CHAZ layers will still be reflecting the
state of CHAZ as of the COB on Friday. The data will be one business day
older than normal.

Wednesday - New layers based on CHAZ in the IMS will be available. The new
layers have the old layer name plus the suffix "_IMS". Hence, the TSDS layer
will become TSDS_IMS. In order to give users a reasonable amount of time to
convert to the new layers, we will run the old layers and new layers parallel
for a few weeks. However, the old layers will always reflect the data as of
the COB on Friday. We will let you know in advance of us deleting the old
layers.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

-Linc
