GIS Users,

The following FNAI layers will be removed from DataCatalog and DataMiner and
will be replaced by their newer versions on Wednesday, 5th September 2007.

ArcSDE Name: DEP.ELEMENT_OCCURRENCE
DataCatalog/DataMiner Name: Element Occurrence
ArcSDE Name: DEP.ELEMENT_OCCURRENCE_2006
DataCatalog/DataMiner Name: Element Occurrence 2006
Replaced by:
ArcSDE Name: DEP.ELEMENT_OCCURRENCE_2007
DataCatalog/DataMiner Name: Element Occurrence

ArcSDE Name: DEP.FLORIDA_FOREVER_ACQUISITIONS
DataCatalog/DataMiner Name: Florida Forever Acquisitions
Replaced by:
ArcSDE Name: DEP.FLORIDA_FOREVER_ACQUISITIONS07
DataCatalog/DataMiner Name: Florida Forever Acquisitions

ArcSDE Name: DEP.FLORIDA_FOREVER_LANDS
DataCatalog/DataMiner Name: Florida Forever Lands
Replaced by:
ArcSDE Name: DEP.FLORIDA_FOREVER_LANDS_2007
DataCatalog/DataMiner Name: Florida Forever Lands

ArcSDE Name: DEP.MANAGED_AREAS
DataCatalog/DataMiner Name: Florida Managed Areas (MA)
Replaced by:
ArcSDE Name: DEP.FL_CONSERVATION_LANDS_MA
DataCatalog/DataMiner Name: Florida Conservation Lands (FNAI Managed Areas)

Users should note that for most of these FNAI layers the display names and
their categorised locations in DataCatalog/DataMiner will not change, but
their ArcSDE names have changed. These changes were necessary as FNAI had
updated the schema for the datasets. Users previously using the Managed Areas
layer should now use the new Florida Conservation Lands (FNAI Managed Areas)
layer. By implementing these changes only the latest versions of the FNAI
data will be available to the users. Users should update any saved projects
with the new data on the date mentioned above.

Thanks.
