The following are new additions to the FDEP GIS Library:
ArcSDE Name: BASE.SJRWMD_LANDUSE_2004
DataMiner/DataCatalog Name: SJRWMD 2004 Land Use
This layer is the land cover and land use data in the St. Johns River Water
Management District (SJRWMD) based on 2004 Natural color and color infrared
aerial photography. This land use/land cover layer was recently released by
the SJRWMD and was obtained from the website. This layer is accessible from
the "Boundaries" tab in DataMiner and is under the "Land Cover" and "Planning
& Development" categories in DataCatalog.
ArcSDE Name:  BASE.SWFWMD_LANDUSE_2004
DataMiner/DataCatalog Name: SWFWMD 2004 Land Use
This layer is the land cover and land use data in the South West Florida
Water Management District (SWFWMD) categorized according to the Florida Land
Use and Cover Classification System (FLUCCS). The features were
photointerpreted at 1:12,000 using 2004 1-meter color infrared (CIR) digital
aerial photographs. This land use/land cover layer was recently released by
the SWFWMD and was obtained from the website. This layer is accessible from
the "Boundaries" tab in DataMiner and is under the "Land Cover" and "Planning
& Development" categories in DataCatalog.
ArcSDE Name: BASE.PRIORITY_ECOL_GREENWAYS_2006
DataMiner/DataCatalog Name: Priority Ecological Greenways 2006
This data set contains the Florida Ecological Greenways Network and Critical
Linkages Prioritization Results approved by the Florida Greenways and Trails
Council in November 2005. These priorities represent the most important areas
for protecting large connected landscapes in Florida. Ranking is from 1 to 6,
with 1 representing the highest priority areas and 6 representing the least.
This layer is accesible from the "OGT" tab in DataMiner and is under the
"Biology & Ecology" category in DataCatalog.
