GIS Users,
We have introduced the DOQQ 2007 Imagery data hosted on Image Server in
DataCatalog and DataMiner.
The display name is:
DOQQ 2007 (aerial photos)
This layer is under the "Imagery and Photographs" category in Data Catalog
and under the "Imagery" tab in DataMiner.
This statewide imagery layer does not currently represent all the 67 counties
and will be updated. As of 4/18/2008, Lee, Martin, Clay, Glades, Hendry,
Osceola and Collier counties' imagery data is not included. Also parts of
Santa Rosa, Madison, Levy, Marion, Volusia, Seminole, Orange, Polk,
Highlands, Okeechobee, Monroe, Brevard, Broward, Miami-Dade are missing from
this layer. Efforts are being made to acquire the imagery from FREAC and this
layer will be updated as and when the data has been made available to
OTIS/GIS Section. Users will be notified of any updates to this layer by the
gis-l. Due to heavy user requests we are publishing this layer in a "as-is"
state.
If not already done so to view the Image Server based imagery, please
install the Image Server client in ArcMap prior to pulling this data from
either Data Catalog or DataMiner. Here is the link to the install
instructions: http://depnet/gis/software/ImageServer/installation.htm
Thanks.
