gis-l: Epic31 down - all GIS services unavailable

GIS users,
Due to a hardware failure with Epic31, all GIS services will be unavailable
until further notice.
The systems group is working with HP to diagnose the problem. Our best guess
is that the server will be restored sometime tomorrow.

GIS users,
Epic31 is currently down with hardware failure, and as a result, all GIS
services are unavailable. This includes:
-Mapdirect and all web mapping applications
-Enterprise GIS data from SDE1 and all other ArcSDE instances
-DataCatalog
-DataMiner
ArcMap is still functional, but you will have to work with local data.
The server has been up and down a couple times this past hour.
We will send an update when service has been restored.
