GIS Users,
The following layer has been newly introduced in ArcSDE, DataCatalog and
DataMiner:
ArcSDE Name: BASE.STREETMAP
DataCatalog/DataMiner Name: StreetMap

This is a subset of the detailed streets, interstate highways, and major
roads within the state of Florida and is extracted from the U.S. and Canada
Detailed Streets StreetMap data. This data set is from the 2003 Tele Atlas
Dynamap Transportation version 5.2 product. This layer is under the
"Transportation" categories in both DataCatalog and DataMiner.

The existing data source for the following layer will be updated on Monday,
August 11th 2008:
Old ArcSDE Name: DEP.COASTAL_CRITICAL_EROSION_AREAS
New ArcSDE Name: DEP.COASTAL_CRIT_EROSION_AREAS08
New DataCatalog/DataMiner Name: Coastal Erosion Lines

This layer is based on the Critical Erosion Report for 2008. Indicates the
condition of shoreline, determined by our staff of Coastal Engineers, for the
year 2008. This report is used to document areas of change and to help the
beach management staff with prioritizing projects and resources to the areas
of greatest need. This layer will be under the "Oceans & Estuaries" category
in DataCatalog and under the "Indexes" tab in DataMiner. Users are requested
to update any saved projects with the new layer by the date indicated above.

Thanks.
