gis-l: MODEL BUILDER Thursday's Arc Discovery

Please join us for Thursday's Arc Discovery Session on Model Builder, hosted by Jason Griffin.  Starting with simple information about this useful tool, Jason will introduce us to the Model Builder and tell us how he has used it streamline his work.

This Arc Discovery Session will be delivered via GO TO MEETING, directly to your PC. Currently this option is only available to FDEP staff.  We will try to make this session available to others in a saved format for your review in the near future.  Watch the GIS_L for more information.

Please review the following set up information so you have time to complete these steps before the Webinar Begins at 11am September 2nd. GO TO Meeting needs to be installed and JAVA installed and updated.  Please follow the directions below:

If you have java installed, follow these steps to update...

1.       Click on the Start menu

2.       Choose Control Panel

3.       Click on Java

4.       Click on the Update tab

5.       Click on the Update Now button

If they do not see the Java icon in the control panel they will need to ...

1.       Open Internet Explorer

2.       In the address bar type:<>
Click on the Free Java download button

Once that is complete, go out to to install their GoToMeeting software.
After they install the software a orange flower will appear on the bottom, right hand corner of their toolbar.  To join the meeting they simply right click the orange flower and choose join.  Then they will need to type in the Meeting ID 407928811.  They will be prompted to enter their First name, Last name, and email address.  After entering the information they will be able to join.
