The following layers are recent new additions to the GIS library and MapDirect:

SDE Name: DEP.WBIDS_VERIFIED_IMPAIRED
DataMiner Name: Verified Impaired WBIDs
The “verified list” of impaired waters is the list of Florida’s waterbodies that fail to attain any of its designated uses and/or meet the minimum criteria for surface waters established in the Surface Water Quality Standards (62-302, F.A.C.) and the Impaired Waters Rule (IWR, 62-303, F.A.C.). This layer is under the ‘Water’ and ‘WRM’ tabs in DataMiner.

SDE Name: DEP.BMMR_MANPHO_BOUNDARIES_09
DataMiner Name: Mandatory Phosphate Mine Boundaries 2009
The Mandatory Phosphate Mine Boundaries layer contains the Conceptual boundaries of all Active and Inactive Mandatory Phosphate Mines within Florida by the year 2009. 'Mandatory Phosphate Mines' does not indicate that the area is required to be mined for phosphate; 'Mandatory' refers to the regulatory status of the land. The layer is under the ‘WRM’ tab in DataMiner.

SDE Name: DEP.NPS_CONTRACT_REGIONS
DataMiner Name: Nonpoint Source Management Contract Regions
This layer spatially represents the regional contract areas administered by the Nonpoint Source Management section staff for all Section 319 Grants and TMDL Water Quality Restoration Grants.  Regional contract managers provide municipalities with consistent long-term contacts for current and future projects, and allow for establishment of regional expertise for better evaluation of BMPs. This layer is under the ‘Boundaries’, ‘Water’, and ‘WRM’ tabs in DataMiner.

SDE Name: DEP.AQUATIC_PRESERVES
DataMiner Name: Aquatic Preserves
Aquatic Preserves are state-owned sovereign submerged lands in areas which have exceptional biological, aesthetic, and scientific value, as described in Chapter 258.39, Florida Statutes, which have been set aside for the benefit of future generations. These areas are managed by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection's Office of Coastal and Aquatic Managed Areas. This layer is under the ‘Boundaries’ tab in DataMiner. Please note that this layer replaces the previous version of Aquatic Preserves available in DataMiner.

DataMiner Name: Digital Elevation Model 2009
This is a new updated Image Service layer for the DEM’s obtained from Florida Geological Society (FGS) which were created/updated for use in the development of evidential layers used in the Florida Aquifer Vulnerability Assessment (FAVA) Model II. This layer is under the ‘Imagery’ tab in DataMiner.

SDE Name: BASE.TIGER_COUNTIES_2010
DataMiner Name: TIGER 2010 Counties
This is a updated TIGER Counties 2010 layer published by the Census Bureau and reflects the 2009 boundary changes of Palm Beach and Broward counties. This layer is under the ‘Boundaries’ tab in DataMiner.

SDE Name: BASE.IMAGERY_2011_FLIGHT_DATES
DataMiner Name: Aerial Imagery 2011 Flight Dates
This feature class contains the flight dates for the 2011 Imagery layer as published in DataMiner and MapDirect. This layer displays the flight dates for only the counties that have imagery flown in from 2010-2011. This layer is under the ‘Imagery’ tab in DataMiner.

SDE Name: BASE.NAIP_IMAGERY_2010_FLIGHT_DATES
DataMiner Name: NAIP Imagery 2010 Flight Dates
This data set contains flight dates for the 2010 imagery from the National Agriculture Imagery Program (NAIP). The NAIP acquires digital ortho imagery during the agricultural growing seasons in the continental U.S. This layer is under the ‘Imagery’ tab in DataMiner.


SDE Name: BASE. BASE.NWFWMD_LANDUSE_2009_2010
DataMiner Name: NWFWMD 2009-2010 Land Use
This dataset, created by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection's Bureau of Watershed Restoration, is an inventory of Land use - Land Cover classified in the State of Florida's Northwest Florida Water Management District and based on 2009 and/or 2010 Florida Ortho Quarter Quad Aerial Imagery True color photography. Classifications are provided for level 1, 2, 3 and a few level 4 (indicated in Land use and Secondary Code fields) land uses. This layer is under the ‘Boundaries’ tab in DataMiner.
