This email is in response to several requests recently about GIS training opportunities.  ESRI has published a number of free web courses that cover a variety of skill levels and Desktop versions.  If you're interested, you'll need to follow a few steps to create an ESRI global account and will require a broadband internet connection and a PC with Windows Media Player 9 or higher. You're new to GIS - Getting started with GIS<> (3 modules = 9 hours)
You're a seasoned user but interested in what's new in ArcGIS Desktop 10 - Using ArcMap in ArcGIS Desktop 10<> (1 module = 3 hours)
You edit data in ArcGIS - Editing in ArcGIS Desktop 10<>   (1 module = 3 hours)
You use imagery for analysis - Visualizing and Analyzing Imagery with ArcGIS10<> (60 minute pre-recorded seminar)
