The following is a replacement layer for Springs data in DataMiner and MapDirect:

This layer contains the list of FDEP standardized spring names and the best available locations of 1014 unique spring vents. This statewide layer includes newly discovered springs, those with some data collection activities, or those included in publications by various government entities in the State of Florida. The Springs (2011) location information updates and corrects locations previously published in error. This layer under the “WATER” and “WRM” tabs in DataMiner and has been added in MapDirect.

This layer replaces the DEP.SPRINGS_FLORIDA/Springs (2009) and DEP.SPRINGS/Springs layers currently available in DataMiner. Users are requested to update any saved mxd’s with this new layer. The older layers will be removed from DataMiner on July 5th.

Also, please note that the display name of the following layer has been changed in DataMiner and MapDirect as directed by the Springs data stewards:
ArcSDE Name: DEP.SPRINGS_FIRST_MAGNITUDE_2000
