gis-l: New/Updated layers in DataMiner

GIS Users,

The Cadastral 2010 parcel data has been newly added in the FDEP GIS library:

ArcSDE Name: BASE.CADASTRAL_2010_SP
DataMiner Name: Cadastral 2010 (Property Appraiser Parcels)

This layer is under the “Indexes” tab in DataMiner. This data was originally developed by the Department of Revenue (DOR) in conjunction with the various county property appraiser's offices. Users should note that, this parcel data is to be used for reference purposes only. For legal issues, the users need to contact the respective county property appraisers office for accurate records.

With the release of the new Cadastral 2010 data, the older Cadastral 2005 (Property Appraiser Parcels) layer will no longer be available via DataMiner and MapDirect from March, 14th 2011. Users may have to update their saved mxd’s if this layer is being used. If business needs dictate continued use of this layer, please contact OTIS/GIS Section directly – GIS.Librarian at dep.state.fl.us<mailto:GIS.Librarian at dep.state.fl.us> for assistance.

The following layer has been updated:

ArcSDE Name: BASE.IMAGERY_2010_FLIGHT_DATES
DataMiner Name: Aerial Imagery 2010 Flight Dates

This layer has been updated with the flight dates of the recently added county imagery data. This layer is under the ‘Indexes’ tab in DataMiner.
