gis-l: Updates/Replacement layers in DataMiner

GIS Users,
The following layers were recently updated in the GIS library:
ArcSDE Name: DEP.BROWNFIELD_AREAS
DataMiner Name: Brownfield Areas
This layer has 288 records. The metadata has been updated for this layer with the name of the new Brownfield Areas and their ID numbers. This layer is under the ‘DWM’ tab in DataMiner.

ArcSDE Name: DEP.BEACH_ACCESS_SITES
DataMiner Name: Public Beach Access Sites
This layer has been updated with all the access sites in the entire state. This completes the final update to the layer. This layer is under the ‘Water’ tab in DataMiner.

The following is a new replacement layer for the Digital Elevation Model data in DataMiner and MapDirect:

ArcSDE Name: BASE.DEM_2009
DataMiner Name: Digital Elevation Model 2009
This is the most latest DEM layer based on the data obtained from Florida Geological Survey (FGS) and is under the ‘Imagery’ tab in DataMiner
This layer replaces DEP.DIGITAL_ELEVATION_MODEL/Digital Elevation Model currently in DataMiner and MapDirect. Users are requested to update any saved mxd’s with this new
layer. The old layer will be removed on November 10th 2011.
