gis-l: Intermittent and persisting GIS server issues

The server that supports Map Direct and several other GIS applications is encountering technical difficulties that are intermittent and persisting.  We and our systems support group are working to resolve the issue.  We apologize for any difficulty that this causes you or your clients.
