gis-l: New/Updated layers in DataMiner

GIS Users,
The following layers were recently updated in the GIS Library:

ArcSDE Name: DEP.BROWNFIELD_AREAS
DataMiner Name: Brownfield Areas
This layer has 295 records. The metadata has been updated for this layer with the name of the new Brownfield Areas and their ID numbers. This layer is under the ‘DWM’ tab in DataMiner.

ArcSDE Name: DEP.BIORECON_REGIONS
DataMiner Name: Biorecon Regions
This layer is used with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection's Bioassessment Program.  The Bioassessment program uses it to define the biological region of a sampling station when performing a Biorecon to identify applicable standards. This layer was updated recently to more accurately portray the southern coastal boundary line and match the SCI bioregion southern coastal boundary. This layer is under the “Boundaries” and “WRM” tabs in DataMiner.

The following layers are recent additions in the GIS Library:

ArcSDE Name: BASE.FWC_ANCHORAGES
DataMiner Name: Florida Anchorages
This GIS data set represents anchorages in the state of Florida. An anchorage is a public place to anchor or moor a boat for overnight stay, not registered with harbors or marina. Anchorages are transient-welcome, have no facilities, and are open public areas. This layer is under the “FWC” tab in DataMiner.

ArcSDE Name: BASE.FWC_JOHNSON_SEAGRASS
DataMiner Name: Johnson Seagrass Critical Habitat
This GIS data set represents critical habitat areas in the state of Florida for Johnson’s seagrass. This layer is also under the “FWC” tab in DataMiner.
