GIS Users,
The following layers were recently added in the GIS library:
ArcSDE Name: BASE.SFWMD_NEEPP_WATERSHEDS
DataMiner Name: NEEPP Watersheds
The Northern Everglades and Estuaries Protection Program (NEEPP) data layer represents the three watersheds covered by the NEEPP, Section 373.4595, F.S. The three watersheds currently identified by the statute are the Lake Okeechobee watershed, the Caloosahatchee River watershed, and the St. Lucie River watershed. These watersheds are identified as nutrient-sensitive areas in the state of Florida. This layer is under the ‘Boundaries’ and ‘WRM’ tabs in DataMiner.
ArcSDE Name: BASE.USGS_POTMAP_CONTOURS
DataMiner Name: Potentiometric Surface of the Upper Floridan Aquifer
The potentiometric surface is an imaginary surface connecting points of equal altitude to which water will rise in tightly cased wells that tap a confined aquifer system (Lohman, 1979).The surface in this map is defined by potentiometric contours, which are lines of constant altitude on the potentiometric surface. Potentiometric contours are based on water-level measurements collected at 1,753 wells during May 2-June 23, 2010 (Kinnaman, 2011). This layer is under the ‘Water’ tab in DataMiner.
The following layer was recently updated in the GIS library:
ArcSDE Name: BASE.TIGER_URBAN_2010
DataMiner Name: TIGER 2010 Urban Areas
Population data for the Urban Areas and Urban Clusters were added in 2 new fields in this layer. This layer is under the ‘Boundaries’ tab in DataMiner.
Thanks,
