gis-l: New OGT layers in DataMiner

GIS Users,
The following new OGT layers were recently added in the GIS library:
ArcSDE Name: DEP.PADDLING_TRAIL_OPPORTUNITIES
DataMiner Name: Paddling Trail Opportunities
This Paddling Trail Opportunities layer is being created by the Office of Greenways of Trails as an update to the 2008 Paddling Trail Priorities layer, to support the Florida Statewide Greenways & Trails System. To read more about the (FGTS) Florida Greenways & Trails System plan, please see: http://www.dep.state.fl.us/gwt/FGTS_Plan/default.htm This new data represents the vision for a comprehensive water-based trails system. This data includes waterways that are designated as part of the FGTS or are appropriate for future designation. This layer replaces the current Paddling Trail Priorities layer available in DataMiner and MapDirect. This layer is available under the ‘OGT’ button in DataMiner.

ArcSDE Name: DEP.LAND_TRAIL_OPPORTUNITIES
DataMiner Name: Land Trail Opportunities
This draft Land Trail Opportunities layer is being created by the Office of Greenways of Trails as an update to the 2008 Multi-use Trail Priorities layer, to support the Florida Statewide Greenways & Trails System. To read more about the (FGTS) Florida Greenways & Trails System plan, please see: http://www.dep.state.fl.us/gwt/FGTS_Plan/default.htm
This dataset represents the existing, planned and conceptual non-motorized trails that form a land-based trail network of state and regional importance. This map is a synthesis of trail planning efforts being conducted by cities, counties, transportation planning organizations and other agencies and non-profits throughout Florida. This layer replaces the current Multiuse Trail Priorities layer available in DataMiner and MapDirect. This layer is available under the ‘OGT’ button in DataMiner.

ArcSDE Name: DEP.PRIORITY_TRAIL_OPPORTUNITIES
DataMiner Name: Priority Trail Opportunities
This GIS layer is being created by the Office of Greenways of Trails to support the Florida Statewide Greenways & Trails System. To read more about the (FGTS) Florida Greenways & Trails System plan, please see: http://www.dep.state.fl.us/gwt/FGTS_Plan/default.htm
This dataset should be used in conjunction with the Office of Greenways and Trails Florida Greenways & Trails System Plan 2013-2017. This layer is available under the ‘OGT’ button in DataMiner.

The following OGT layers will be removed from DataMiner by COB today as per a request from Office of Greenways and Trails staff. The new layers mentioned above are to used as replacement layers. If these layers are saved in your map documents kindly remove them and replace them with the new layers.

ArcSDE Name: DEP.MULTIUSE_TRAIL_PRIORITIES

DataMiner Name: Paddling Trail Priorities
