gis-l: Element Occurrence data usage

GIS Users,
We were notified today by the Florida Natural Areas Inventory (FNAI ) staff that they were proposing changes to the format of the Element Occurrence data and are planning on hosting a meeting to explain these changes and get user feedback.  If you or your Program Area/Division use the Element Occurrence data available from DataMiner as part of your business workflows on a regular or occasional basis, please let us know by COB Wednesday February 24th.  We will forward your names and contact information to FNAI so that they may include you in their meeting invitation.

Please note - FNAI staff are aware of the data being used by the Division of State Lands and Office of Operations and will be contacted separately.

GIS Coordinators - please feel free to inform your GIS user community (who may not be on the list serv) about these proposed changes.
