gis-l: Important Information Regarding ArcGIS Pro Expiring Licenses

Good morning GIS users,

After 30 days, a borrowed concurrent license for ArcGIS Pro expires. You do not need to submit a service ticket to borrow another concurrent license.

Please follow the steps below on how to borrow a concurrent license for another additional 30 days. (Please note: 30 days is the maximum amount of time allowed, after 30 days, ArcGIS Pro automatically returns the borrowed license). Anyone is allowed to borrow a license as long as (1) have the ability to connect to DEP network, and (2) are using a concurrent license.


  1.  Connect to DEP's VPN. From your Network & Internet Settings, please click on the VPN that has been installed on your PC and sign in with your FDEP Credentials. (Remember to include the domain name floridadep\ before your username).

  2.  Once you have successfully connected to DEP's VPN. Please follow the help document: Borrowing a Concurrent License for ArcGIS Pro<https://floridadep.sharepoint.com/otis/gis/Shared%20Documents/USERS/Help%20Desk%20Documents/ArcGIS_Pro_Borrow_Concurrent_License>.
  3.  Disconnect from DEP's VPN Connection once you have successfully borrowed a license. (Please disregard, if you utilize the VPN connection for your daily workflow).
