gis-l: Authorizing ArcGIS Pro for Offline Use

FDEP GIS Users,

See info below regarding use of ArcGIS Pro software offline. This will only allow use of the software without internet, so a reminder the DataMiner tool will not work unless connected to the DEP network. Data must be local to the machine when working offline!

To authorize ArcGIS Pro to work offline:

  1.  Foremost, make sure you are connected to the DEP network (either directly from your office or over the VPN if remote). If working remotely, our VPN guidelines are attached for your reference.
  2.  Start ArcGIS Pro and open Settings in the bottom-left.
  3.  Navigate to Licensing and then under Settings select "Authorize ArcGIS Pro to work offline". This will default to a maximum of 30 days for offline use.
  4.  As shown in the image below, your License and Esri Extensions will update with an Expires date.
