The process of setting it up is straightforward; Open your start menu> Select All Programs> ArcGIS>ArcGIS Administrator> Click the Borrow/Return folder under the Desktop folder, select the features you’d like to Borrow and hit the “Apply” button. Returning the license is the same process, but unchecking instead of checking the Feature boxes in the Borrow/Return dialog box.

If you’re a 9.3.1 user or require a true (longer term) stand-alone copy of the software, the process will require an authorization file from ESRI, please send an email to GIS.Librarian@dep.state.fl.us in order to set this up on your computer.

New Custom FDEP Desktop tool for Desktop 10:

The Table to Point tool has now been converted to an Add-In for ArcMap 10.0! We have also made a minor update to the DataMiner Add-In for ArcMap 10.0. This update fixes the issue of ArcMap crashing if the DataMiner web service is down.
