Answer: ArcGIS Desktop 10 is the last version that will “fully” support VBA code. According to the current plan, OTIS/GIS will support desktop version 10 for at least two more years. However, it may prove
prudent for your program to begin planning to rewrite this functionality in another language. If you’re interested, please see the following article for more information.

Answer: Download, install and use the Federal Geodetic Data Committee (FGDC) Metadata Editor add-in. This is currently bundled with departmental custom add-in installations. See steps 8 and 9 of this
document. http://depnet/gis/software/arcgis10/arcgisdesktop.htm. Metadata created using the FGDC editor is compliant with our current 9.3 version of SDE.

Answer: High Resolution Aerial Imagery acquisition is currently being coordinated by the Department of Revenue. Florida Statutes require that for each county, aerial imagery must be flown at least once
every three years. Here is a link

OTIS/GIS acquires and formats the data so that it may be distributed through enterprise resources. Aerial imagery that was flown in the winter of 2011-2012 (several new counties later this week or early next) is now becoming available through Data miner’s
Aerial_Imagery_2012 layer.
