<p class="MsoNormal">We just got a new Trimble Geo 7x unit and the latest versions of TerraSync and GPS Pathfinder (5.60). I am wondering if anybody is familiar with setting up coordinate systems in Pathfinder.

<p class="MsoNormal">In order to correctly import a shapefile from ArcGIS into Pathfinder (to create an .imp file that can be transferred to and correctly used in the Trimble), the coordinate system in the program needs to be setup. In the Help it seems like
a bit of a process with geoids, etc, and before I got into this I thought I’d ask if any Pathfinder user had done this using the FDEP projection (albers Harn 1983).
