For all Project Leads, Project Managers and authorized build surrogates.

The two subject logs are now being added to the maven web site for each
project. the nightly build log can be accessed for example as:

http://epic6.dep.state.fl.us/dwm-sits/nightly.log

and the on-demand build file sends the output to:

http://epic6.dep.state.fl.us/dwm-sits/build.log

These become more convenient if the maven web site menu on the left side
includes an entry like the DwmSits project. Note that the menu is created
from entries in the projects xdocs/stylesheets/project.xml file.

The on-demand builds currently show no activity since the output is
redirected to the file system and not std-out. Please exercise patience
while the build completes.

The errors being reported in the build output examples above are related to
the unit testing where the log4j subsystem attempts to write logging output
to an as yet non-existent directory. I have asked the Java Team to create
this directory. When it is, I will link it to the web server docroot so that
unit test output can also be linked in from the maven web site.

The nightly build results will be processed to show projects that failed to
build on a nightly basis. I will include a cront task that creates a report
page and lists projects that fail the nightly build. Projects that
consistently fail the nightly build or that do not show a successful build
before noon that day will get special attention. This is an effort to
improve out performance regarding Best Practices in J2EE development in terms
of the Continuous Integration and Testing aspects.
