You put them in the project.xml file as a dependency and maven automatically
adds them to the repository if you have a url link on where to get them.
 
If you don't have a url, you can ftp the file to epic6 (put it in the /tmp
dir ) and use your maven.xml file to move the file from /tmp to the
repository location, usually /maven/repository/something-new/jars/your.jar.
The maven.xml file has several copy tasks that move jars around already.
Edit a new one to suit your needs.

            The SRF team needs to get a new jar put on the shared repository
where we are storing all of our jar files. How would we go about doing this?
