2007 National Forum on Contaminants in Fish
Join your colleagues in Portland, ME July 23-26, 2007 to learn about
the latest issues regarding chemical contaminants in fish at the 2007
National Forum on Contaminants in Fish.

Description: The 2007 Forum is jointly cosponsored by U.S.
Environmental Protection Agency and Maine Center for Disease Control
and Prevention. General topics for the 2007 Forum include: Sampling
and Analysis/ Emergent contaminants, Risk Communication, Risk
Assessment / Toxicology/ Chemical Profiles, Risk Management, Health
Benefits, and Biomonitoring.
Who Should Attend: Health and environmental officials from state,
tribal, and federal agencies and others interested in presenting and
discussing issues related to assessing and managing potential health
risks associated with dietary exposure to bioaccumulative chemical
contaminants in fish.
Call for Posters: The Poster Session, which is scheduled to open on
the evening of Monday, July 23, and during the meeting breaks, will
give participants a chance to meet with their peers to informally
discuss current topics. If you have an idea for a poster, please send
us an abstract (to snw at rti.org) no later than June 1. You can obtain
additional information about the poster session on the conference Web
site listed above.
