we've managed to keep a pretty tight lid on the 2007 H2E Environmental
Excellence Award winners. 
 
Regardless of whether your organization wins an award, we encourage everyone
to attend the 2007 H2E Environmental Excellence Summit, May 14-15 in
Minneapolis, MN.  The value-packed two-day event will include award
presentations (and winner case study sessions), several learning seminars, a
full-day pharmaceutical waste management workshop, and a highly anticipated
keynote by Pete Myers, co-author of 'Our Stolen Future'.

PHARMACEUTICAL WASTE MANAGEMENT WORKSHOP
The Workshop will be held on Tuesday, May 15th, the second day of the
Environmental Excellence Summit. The day will begin with a keynote breakfast
with author Pete Myers discussing the emerging science on low-level chemical
exposures, endocrine disruption, and efforts to reduce the effects of
synthetic chemical contamination.
 
The full-day Workshop includes numerous information-rich sessions,
including:
- Pharmaceutical Waste Issues/Approaches Overview  by Charlotte Smith,
nationally known expert on Pharmaceutical waste characterization and
disposal, and co-author of H2E's Pharmaceutical Waste Management "Blueprint"
