Hi Jennifer.

In quick response to your list-serve posting about responding to the
MN legislator, I thought I would forward the following links and data
gathered by our team.

How and whether we can use this information to determine amounts in
waterways is a whole other discussion, and a model that should be
built.

Total Retail Sales 2005 (traditional drug stores)
* Year end 2005 sales for all traditional drug stores (chain &
independents) reached an estimated $174.2 billion, up 4.1% from 2004:
(from http://www.nacds.org/wmspage.cfm?parm1=507 )

(Lots of interesting data here. Note the "average prescription
price" information. That alone could keep statisticians, model
builders and prognosticators of projection busy for some time.)

Let us know what approach you take.
