Call for Presentation Proposals
NHPCO's 8th Clinical Team Conference, Scientific Symposium and Facility-Based
Hospice Forum:
Purpose, Passion, Performance
Hilton New Orleans Riverside
November 30 - December 1, 2007
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: April 9, 2007

Called the "most unique city in America," New Orleans will be the setting for
NHPCO's 8th annual Clinical Team Conference, Scientific Symposium and
Facility-Based Hospice Forum; a city known for its pride, passion and
culture. Borrowing from this legacy, the conference and companion offerings
will focus on "Purpose, Passion and Performance," three key elements of the
important work that hospice and palliative care clinicians, researchers,
practitioners and leaders weave into care provided to patients and families.
Just as writers have described New Orleans as being comprised of a "durable
culture in a difficult place," hospice and palliative care has taken root and
grown in a challenging healthcare environment. This conference will
demonstrate the unique blend of scientific rigor, clinical excellence and
passion for quality that is the hallmark of hospice and palliative care.
