[Pharmwaste] SDWA contaminant candidate list nominations

I do water testing on a day to day basis. The best thing to do is to
keep it out of the water. Deciding which pharmaceutical(s) to test for
could be daunting.

What is needed the cultural shift that is being discussed here. I have
witnessed the flushing of pharms by Hospice (years ago) and I am
surprised by how much we have at home in our medicine cabinet and we are
not in the prime of the increased pharmaceutical age bracket yet.

I just wanted to bring up a different aspect than the frogs.

I have heard that human waste from chemo patients is quite nasty. I am
not sure that small water systems well head protection programs are
fully up on all of this for their education outreach.

Education of the whole spectrum from docs to patients is called for.

Shucks, just a little bit further on the page it says.....

When do I need to submit my nominations?
EPA must receive your nomination by midnight December 15, 2006.
