2009 International Symposium on Pharmaceuticals in the Home and Environment

Deadline for presentation proposal submissions: June 1, 2009
At this time, we are accepting proposals to be considered for presentation at
the symposium. Possible topics may include but are not limited to: trends in
prescription use or abuse, program strategies for successful drug disposal
projects, best practices in prescribing medication, legislation and policies
effecting prescription drug use and disposal, results of prescription drug
return projects, and alternative therapies to benzodiazepines.
Each individual or organization may submit more than one proposal. Applicants
will be notified of a decision by June 30, 2009 (Please note that the
submission of a proposal cannot guarantee its acceptance for presentation).
Presenters are responsible for registering for the conference and assuming
responsibility for all expenses associated with participating in the 2009
International Symposium.
Symposium, panel, paper, and poster proposal presentations are being accepted
this year. Pre-conference workshops will take place on Sunday, October 18th.
Symposia, panels, paper, and poster presentations will take place on Monday
and Tuesday October 19th and 20th.
The standard audiovisual equipment provided in all sessions (except posters)
includes an LCD projector, computer and screen at no charge to the presenter.
Audiovisual equipment is not permitted for poster presentations.
