Are you interested in coordinating a medication take-back event in your community?

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, School of Pharmacy will be hosting a 3 day conference to equip individuals/organizations to conduct a legal, safe, and successful community medication take back event.  Conference attendees will learn step-by-step the information needed to conduct a medication take-back event and will acquire invaluable hands-on learning by participating in a small scale Medication Cleanout event. This conference will be an excellent resource for any individual interested in coordinating or participating in the planning of a medication take back event; including, but not limited to healthcare providers, law enforcement officers, solid waste personnel, mental health professionals, school counselors or nurses, and pharmacists.
