I just hope they don't advertise this too much. Can any of you imagine waiting for people to open and dump out into containers and be sent home with liquids (easier to sewer than put in the trash!). And they are asking how many containers you want, like you'd only need 1? I'm pretty sure they can't do this well without the expertise of the HHW programs on running events, but my recommendation now is to back away and let them take the heat for this. We've been working hard at running great events for 20 years, I want no part of this. We are in the middle of setting up a super great collection network here in MN, this is a total setback from my perspective.

Hey all,
Is this what others are seeing about the Sept. 25 DEA event? It will be fun sorting through and turning away all liquids. I guess codeine cough syrup isn't controlled? We were well down the road to coming up with a plan that made sense. This, not so much.
