Many wastewater treatment plants incinerate their biosolids, which we
know to have concentrations of PPCPs. Are there any studies that
indicate the fate of PPCPs in biosolids that are incinerated, gasified,
or otherwise thermally destroyed? Is there any research indicating a
minimum temperature that would destroy or render harmless PPCPs?
