Subject: Get the Old Meds Out Conference May 19th, 2010

The UW-Extension is hosting a one day conference on pharmaceutical waste on May 19th, 2010 in
Milwaukee. Highlights of the program include an update on Wisconsin consumer collection programs, as well as info on other programs from around the midwest and North America. This will also be a great opportunity to network with other midwestern local government people and discuss potential product stewardship solutions to this emerging issue.

In addition, the Midwest Product Stewardship Council is hosting a free half day pre-conference workshop on May 18th which you are more than welcome to
attend.

Limited travel reimbursement is available to Great Lakes state and local government staff on a first-come, first served basis. For registration
and program information, please go to the SHWEC blog (http://fyi.uwex.edu/shwec ) and click on the ³Get the Old Meds Out² tab.

I hope to see you in May!
