Onderwerp: [Pharmwaste] list serve usage reminder

Dear Members,

Thanks for being a member of this list serve! Do you know there are
currently 836 members of Pharmwaste?! I bet we reach all fifty states
and I know there are some members outside the US. The list serve has
been operating since January, 2005. The list serve has always been open
to all and I believe that is one of its strengths.

I am proud to administer a list serve that is an open forum for
discussion of the issues that have been arising as we all struggle to
find ways to manage this emerging issue. However, periodically we need
to be reminded of the email etiquette that makes this list serve work.
It's that time again.

Please remember to post in plain text. People who are receiving posts in
digest form have a hard time reading posts that are in HTML. Send links
rather than copying and pasting pictures into your email.

Please remember to not use the list serve for personal communication.
Think twice before responding to all.

Please remember to use a subject line that is pertinent to your post.
This helps make our archive area more useful.

The list serve should not be used to defame or disparage any individual,
business or government entity.

Remember that the things you post to the list serve live on - first in
the Pharmwaste archive area, but perhaps more importantly on Google and
other servers. A search for specific topics we discuss will return our
exact email strings.

Florida Department of Environmental Protection does not endorse specific
equipment or companies. Any emails posted to the Pharmwaste list serve
cannot be construed as opinion of the Department.

Again, I want to thank all of you who help make this a unique method for
sharing information, research, ideas and legislation.

Your Pharmwaste list serve administrator,
Laurie Tenace
