[Pharmwaste] New Alternative Pharm Treatment Options?

I am interested in any pharmaceutical treatment methods other than landfills and incinerators that would render the pharmaceuticals inert. Any approved chemical or other type treatment out there? Looking for something innovative to treat household take back pharmaceuticals. It wouldn't have to treat every type of pharmaceutical, maybe even a group such as antibiotics. I know it is a long shot but if anyone has any ideas, please contact me directly.

Thank you,
