[Pharmwaste] RE: Why is this on pharmwaste listserve

I agree with Fred, perhaps the reference was meant to be for the article on FDA's BPA ban, which really isn't about pharms. We've had a few posts on those and chemicals found in personal care products, many of which have a disclaimer sentence at the beginning that it may not be of interest to the group. I think overall that this list serve has been pretty tight considering the variety of people on it.

Thanks again Laurie for all you do!

I am otherwise minded regarding this posting. It serves as a point of information which may give us indications of what is to come in our arena. As drug procurement and consumption habits change in America, so too must we adapt to manage the inevitable legal and regulatory changes which always follow.

There's an old adage - Forewarned is forearmed

I, for one, would rather scan and discard a thousand e-mails of similar content which I find to have little value than be denied one critical one, and since I'm not the sole consumer nor are my needs the same as everyone else's on the list I'm not going to advocate restricting the flow of any information even remotely related to our core interest.

My vote and $0.02 worth

Fred Miller

I am confused why this was forwarded to the listserve. It does not pertain to any environmental issues and is sourced from popular press. If anyone is interested in changing the focus of the listserve perhaps they should initiate a new one.
