Is anyone on this list involved with this? I'd be interested in more
information.

Greetings all,

At the World Water Forum next week, the World Health Organization will host
a session on Household Water Treatment and Safe Storage, on Wednesday 14
March, from 2:30pm to 4:30pm, as part of *Target 6* under *Thematic
Priority 1.3 Hygiene and Health through Water and Sanitation*. The session
will be held in Palais des Congres 17, Samena, Level 12.

Organizations focused on Millennium Development Goals 4, 5, 6 and those
involved in the implementation of water and sanitation projects will be
especially interested in attending this session to understand how low-cost
interventions for household-based treatment of drinking-water and safe
storage can significantly reduce the pathogen load in drinking water and,
thereby, reduce the risk of diarrhoeal diseases, especially important in
vulnerable populations. Attached is a flyer with further information. You
may also visit http://bit.ly/xe6khG to learn more about Target 1.3.6.

This session will focus on the importance of policies in this area, links
to implementation, and the role of all key stakeholders in informing and
supporting effective policy development.

We hope to see you there!

Best regards
Ryan
