Mallinckrodt ( http://cts.businesswire.com/ct/CT?id=smartlink&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.mallinckrodt.com%2F&esheet=50617896&lan=en-US&anchor=Mallinckrodt&index=1&md5=a2dce1f8e37bbdf85420a6e885f9e06f ), the pharmaceuticals business of Covidien, has bought three drop-boxes for police stations near their facility in St. Louis and given a $5000 grant to fund a year of disposal costs. Though it is only a token level of support, this makes Mallinckrodt look downright enlightened compared to other pharmaceutical manufactures!
