THE DRUGS WE WASH AWAY: Pharmaceuticals in the water system

The animation deals with the occurrence of pharmaceuticals (as emerging pollutants) in the water system. It wants to dispel some of the widespread urban myths regarding the issue, and provide some factual information on the processes involved. The animation was produced for people without prior knowledge on the issue from Ecologic Institute in the frame of the European research project PHARMAS (FP7). You can use it for the dissemination of your research. It is licensed under Creative Commons and can be used and distributed freely.
