Please note the World Health Organization recommends collecting the Urine,
Feces and Vomit for 48 hours after treatment. The gloves and wipes can go in
the same disposal box. I am going to include a shameless plug for the
company I work for that does this. Check out www.pharma-cycle.com

Subject: [Pharmwaste] safe disposal of home-generated chemo waste
Does anyone have any recommended practices for homeowners to safely dispose
of chemotherapy contaminated materials like bedpans, wipes, gloves? In other
words, what they generate when doing chemo at home other than possible drug
waste.
Thanks,
Laurie
