Legislative Alert
SB 1014 (Jackson) Home-Generated Pharmaceutical Waste Collection and Disposal Act<http://calpsc.us3.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=80dc739dafd96b0ffcbfafd1b&id=d1e501d6fa&e=207695c9d0> is being given a full informational hearing and it will be the only bill heard in the Senate Environmental Quality Committee Wednesday March 26, 2014 at 9:30 am Pacific Time.

The hearing will include presentations by CalRecycle Director Caroll Mortensen, three local government take-back programs- Los Angeles County sheriff, City of San Francisco, and Alameda County- the Legislative Analyst's Office (LAO), and The Board of Pharmacy prior to the formal committee hearing and vote on the bill. The bill testimony will include presentations by the District Attorney of Alameda County, followed by Clean Water Action and the California Association of Sanitation Agencies during the formal hearing.
